Mid Penn Bank Offers Summer Reading Program to Local Children

$10 will be given to participating children who read 10 books, making reading fun and rewarding at Mid Penn this summer

HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 29, 2015) – Mid Penn Bank has kicked off its annual “Summer Reading Program” to encourage children to continue reading during the summer months.

To participate, children are asked to read 10 books and record them on the back of the Mid Penn Bank Summer Reading Program flyer. When a child completes the flyer and brings it into a Mid Penn Bank branch, the bank will deposit $10 into the child’s new or existing savings account.

Summer Reading Program flyers can be picked up at one of Mid Penn Bank’s 19 branches in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Luzerne, Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties. The flyer is also available on the bank’s website at midpennbank.com/mysavings.

The program is limited to one redeemed flyer per child, and children must be 15 years of age or younger to participate. Completed flyers may be turned in through September 30.
